Presentation of the wilaya

The wilaya of El M'Ghair is an Algerian wilaya created in 2019 and formalized in 2021, previously a delegated wilaya created in 2015. It is located in the Algerian Sahara .      

The wilaya of El Meghaier is divided into 8  towns and two daïras : El M'Ghair and Gama'a .       

GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION (Relief - Climate, etc.) 

The wilaya of El M'Ghair is located in the south of Algeria , whose capital bears the same name. It is located in the region of Oued Righ between Biskra and Oued Souf . Its area is 8 835 km2 ² .     

It is bordered: 

·         to the north by the wilaya of Biskra ;  

·         to the east by the wilaya of El Oued :  

·         to the west by the wilaya of Ouled Djellal ;  

·         and to the south by the wilaya of Touggourt and Ourgla .  

Weather

a semi-arid region according to a ten-year precipitation and temperature scale study, where the annual precipitation rate is 70 mm or more. It is also characterized by a hot climate in summer and cold. in winter, with a temperature generally of 35
