Le théâtre régional de Batna (TRB) a été crée par décret N°281/85 en date du 12/11/1985 et classé comme EPIC entreprise a caractère industriel et commercial conformément a l'ordonnance N° 70/39 du 12/06/1970. Le TRB est en activité depuis l'année 1987 et a été primé, pour ses mérites, de plusieurs distinctions régionales, nationales et même internationales.
